The Process of Move-in

For our customers, YOLO HOME provides multilingual support. An interpreter will provide services such as
making phone calls for you, so please ask for our services anytime without any worries.

The guarantor company will inspect and verify the identity of the individual. When speaking to us, please be sure that we are speaking to the individual. Regarding the results, after we have been able to verify the identification of the individual, we will contact them on the same day or the next day either by email or by phone.

The real estate agent will contact you about property information.

Property guidance/visit/proposal

Once the property has been decided, we will move on to contract/screening. After the explanation of Important Matters, please pay the initial cost on the day or within 1-week.

We will give you the key once all the required payments before moving in have been made. At this point the necessary procedures for moving in will have been completed.

Required documents

Passport or residence card

Health certificate, work certificate, employment notification, employment acceptance, student ID, notification of pass/fail, etc.

Emergency contact information in your home country (in principle, your relatives) and emergency contact information in Japan (you may provide a friend or an acquaintance)

Q. Does it cost money to use YOLO HOME?
A. No, it’s free. There is no charge for contacting us.

Q. I can’t speak Japanese, is this a problem?
A. If you cannot speak Japanese, we offer translation support. We also provide a thorough explanation of the contract, so there is no need to worry.

Q. I can’t speak Japanese, is this a problem?
A. There is nothing in particular that you need to bring.If you bring your residence card with you, you will be able to immediately start the application process.

Q. Must I sign the contract right away?
A. After you agree to the terms, you may sign the contract. Please give careful consideration when choosing where to live. At the same time, we recommend that you make up your mind as soon as possible when you come across a property that suits your needs.

Q. Is it possible to rent a room without a guarantor?
A. In most cases, if you have passed the screening process, YOLO HOME does not require you to have a guarantor.
However, you will need to provide emergency contact from your home country (in principle a relative) and emergency contact in Japan (friends are accepted).

Q. I lost the keys to my place. What should I do?
A. Please notify the management company as soon as possible as the lost key may be misused.
